  20.                             Authenticity Validation
  21.  
  22. VALIDATE, a  file-authentication program distributed  with SCAN, may  be used to
  23. check  FERRET.EXE for  signs of tampering.  VALIDATE  uses two discrete  methods
  24. to generate Cyclic Redundancy  Checks (CRC's), which are  then displayed for the
  25. user  to  compare against  the  following  values.  Please  refer  to VALIDATE's
  26. documentation for proper use.
